This 1890's Silent Giant School Desk manufactured in the USA is a unique piece of furniture that has been refinished and upcycled to a plant stand/accent table. The desk is made of wood and cast iron, and finished in high quality satin paints. It features a unique retro style, measuring 18 inches in length, 24 inches in width, and 24 inches in height. The seat of the desk flips up making for a great option for small spaces. There is a small storage compartment located underneath the top of the desk. It is an original piece and weighs 29 pounds and fully assembled. This antique repurposed desk is perfect as a conversational piece adding a unique touch to any space.
Although this has been fully refurbished this is over 120 years old and there are small imperfections that only add to the authenticity to the piece. The piece is structurally solid as it's frame is cast iron and only solid wood is used.
